The Evolution of Research Paper Topic - 1837-1865
The Evolution of Research Paper Topic - 1837-1865The birth of 'Academic Homework' started with the goal of providing students with a class to engage in, that did not cause them to procrastinate. By 1967 the NCAA approved this new term as a valid academic activity. The movement towards Academic Homework is traced back to an earlier academic activity: Journaling. Journaling is where the student writes down notes of different topics which he has observed during the day. These subjects could be his class and his lessons. Some parents have felt that their children are losing interest in their daily activity because they are only writing in their journal. It is important to note that journaling is not viewed as a substitute for studying but a means of acquiring knowledge. The goal of this academic activity is to enable students to come up with original ideas for their papers and other subject matters. Papers must not just be copied from other sources but must be based on one's own unique idea s.The topic of papers has been extensively changed throughout the years but the basic topic has remained the same. They include reading up on a topic, writing a summary, summarizing it and finally addressing it in a form of a research paper. They are expected to discuss a particular topic in depth and relate it to a single case study.Ideas must be researched and verified through the assistance of experts in the field. Some of the examples of academic papers might include:While, a student may be aware of Past President on a certain topic, he is not necessarily aware of other forms of information on the topic. It is important for a student to write about his own research and not be too dependent on the recommendations of another student. This is one of the most significant reasons why it is important to choose the best writer possible.A student who writes is likely to learn more and become an overall good student. Papers are expected to be short and concise but at the same time they s hould be informative and well written. The idea is to write not just for the sake of writing but because it must relate to the topic and be able to address it in a professional manner.
